About the Event

The Isuzu 4x4 Club of WA Inc. is heading South to Hamelin Bay! 

This is a members-only event - guests only by invitation!

Guests only able to attend by invitation only and guests will be required to pay a fee of $60.00 per vehicle. 

Guests wishing to attend are required to send an email requesting an invitation to the event.

Guests need to advise what type of vehicle they have and its setup so we can establish their vehicle's suitability.

Guests attending need to have the "Minimum Requirments" listed below unless they are sharing equipment with a member of our club.

If Guests are sharing equipment with a member of the club they must have a UHF Radio fitted or a 5-watt handheld UHF Radio.

  • Sand Flag: Sand Flags are recommended. Sand flags are available for purchase at our meetings.
  • Minimum Requirements: All Terrain Tyres / UHF / Air Compressor / Tyre Deflator / 2x Rated Bow Shackles / Snatch Strap / Damper Blanket / Shovel / Recovery Tracks.

  • Weather: Be prepared for cold/ hot – dry/wet conditions.
  • Water: Minimum 3 Litres per day per adult we also recommend carrying the same amount per child as a safety measure.

Trip Briefing:

The Isuzu 4x4 Club of WA  is heading to the Hamelin Bay Holiday Park for the weekend.

Hamelin Bay is just outside of Margaret River. 

Saturday Morning we will be heading out of the campsite at 1045 hrs Sharp after we complete the muster at 1030 hrs.

Saturday's adventures will consist of doing the Three Bears Track.

Sunday morning we will be packing up camp and heading North to Cape Naturalist to the Northern starting point of the Three Bears Track.

The Three Bears Track is infamous for an awesome surf break known as the "3 Bears".

The Three Bears Track follows the coastline heading south towards Yallingup.

Members have the option to either pack up camp at their own leisure and make their own way home and take the opportunity to visit Margaret River etc. on their way home.

Or you can pack up camp and come on the Three Bears Track Sunday morning and complete the track at approximately lunchtime we will be stopping for Lunch on the Beach and a swim or a surf is optional or you can sit back, take in the views and relax.

 

Members with Caravan or Camper Trailers may be able to leave them parked up at the Holiday Park and return from the track to collect them.

Attendees are advised to please ensure safety/event requirements are followed

  • Follow instructions given by the trip leader, trip leader 2IC / Charlie.
  • Carefully follow all directions given by the trip leader, trip leader 2IC / Charlie.
  • Make sure you arrive early prior to the safety/trip briefing

I understand that there are usually multiple different difficulty options providing the choice of driving the least difficulty, medium difficulty, hard difficulty to the hardest difficulty.

I understand that I must make the most appropriate choice at my own discretion and must understand that I do so at my own risk of any vehicle damage that may occur as a result.

I understand that Trip Leaders and other members of the Association will provide the best possible information & guidance assistance with navigating obstacles of choice.

I understand by registering for this event I do so at my own risk of vehicle damage and understand that I am responsible for any damage that may occur because of participating in events.

I understand that I am responsible for ensuring that I have appropriate Insurance coverage for my vehicle and if damage occurs from participating in the event, I will need to either fix the damage to my vehicle at my own expense or lodge an insurance claim with my respective insurance provider.

I understand that my vehicle may get scratched by vegetation whilst navigating tracks at events.

I acknowledge & understand that I am registering for an event that may cause damage to my vehicle and understand that by participating in this event I make no claim for damages to my vehicle and accept that I am personally accountable for any damages that may occur.
