The Isuzu Club will be meeting at Coca Cola Cafe in Toodyay for lunch and a 1400hrs Departure.

This is a joint trip with members of the Peel and ISUZU 4x4 Clubs.

This trip will take in the 2022 Dowerin Field Day (all day Thurs 25Aug…entry fee applicable) and will eventually end up at Sandy Cape for a couple of nights before heading home. As with any/all trips the weather will play a part in where we end up after Dowerin. 

It will also play a part in the trip actually taking place.

Nights 1-4 have no facilities while Sandy Cape has toilets and showers (not very hot…in fact really cold…actually, they are bloody freezing).

Fuel is available during this trip at Dowerin, Koorda, Moora and Jurien Bay…NOTE some regional fuel places require a credit card to operate.

Food is available at the Field Day (take away stuff) and in Moora (more take away stuff) and Jurien Bay (nice coffee and cakes and bakery stuff and an IGA)…but to be sure you should have sufficient with you so you are not relying on purchasing anything. 

You will need sufficient potable water for the duration of the trip.

Please ensure you have the basics in 1st aid and recovery equipment on board your vehicle.

Day 1 we will meet in Toodyay at the Coca Cola Café with a departure at 1400hrs.

Day 2 will be an early start…Day 5 will be an early start…and your camping stuff is likely to be wet from dew (or maybe rain) when you are packing up.

NOTE…the run up Toodyay Rd and to Wongan Hills in 2021 was very busy with traffic heading to and from the Field Day.

The weather for this trip will be warm, hot, cold, freezing, wet, dry, sunny, cloudy and any combination of these at any time…please make sure you have appropriate clothing and stuff to sleep in…layers are good but most of all please try and be fashionable.

NOTE…last time I was at Sandy Cape (March 2022) bees were all over the place…if you are allergic to them please make sure you have your medication with you.
