Trip Details 

The Isuzu 4x4 Club of WA Inc. is heading to Dwellingup, for a weekend overnight trip to explore Dwellingup tracks.

  • Maximum Vehicles: 20
  • Dogs Allowed: Pets are allowed, and must be well-behaved and friendly. Keeping your dog safe. Dogs are permitted in the recreation area of Lane Poole Reserve but must be kept in control and on a leash at all times. The department conducts baiting with 1080 poison as part of its Western Shield animal conservation program in Lane Poole Reserve.

  • Camping: We will be camping at the Nanga Mill Campground - Bookings are not available online - Swags, Tents, and rooftop tents are recommended *limited availability for camper trailers and Caravans*
  • Camping Fees: $15.00 Per Adult $10.00 Concession - Children $5.00 per Child *Payable at the Park Entry Station*
  • Firewood: BYO - 1 Bag of firewood per vehicle
  • Personal Protection: Enclosed Shoes must be worn on loose gravel surfaces. We recommend wearing boots if you have them or shoes with lots of treads the pee gravel can be slippery. Sunscreen SPF30+ is recommended to protect from the harmful effects of the sun. Insect repellent is also recommended to protect against insects. Sunglasses are recommended to provide protection from the effects of the sun and reduce the effects of sun glare.
  • Weather: be prepared for cold/ hot – dry/wet conditions.
  • Tracks may become more difficult in wet conditions.
  • Water: Minimum of 5 Litres per day per passenger per day.
  • Fuel: All attendees are required to have a full tank of fuel before the Trip briefing.

Trip Briefing:

The Isuzu 4x4 Club of WA Inc. will be meeting at  Lane Poole Reserve Entry Station  Car Park at 1000 hrs. Please ensure you are at the muster point on time ready to go with a full tank of fuel. After the trip briefing, we will be heading straight to the Nanga Mill Campground to set up camp. Everyone needs to be in their vehicles ready to go by 1030hrs.

This will be an exploration trip, along with the possibility of the main trip heading along or near the fire trail track.

Sunday we will be packing up camp and hit back to Perth at your leisure.

 

The Club will stop somewhere along the tracks for a lunch break so please don't forget to bring a packed lunch.

This Trip is dog friendly,  but owners must take caution as 1080 Baits are used in this area. Dogs must be well-behaved, and all dogs must be moved away from other campers whilst other campers are eating their meals. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times.
