The Gingin Dark Sky Star Party is on again in 2027 - date in March TBC. Hosted by the Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory - Location TBA. There'll be Stargazing, Camping and plenty of events at the Centre and Observatory. More details to be released closer to the date

This Family Friendly annual event serves to enagage the Community and promote the region while showcasing the Dark Sky Reserve and highlighting the connection between Western Science and Aboriginal Cultural Heritage.
The 2026 event will occur over two nights – Date to be confirmed
The weekend will feature Public Stargazing, Astronomy ‘How To’ sessions and Astro-Photography Intro + Advice each evening.
The Gravity Discovery Centre Observatory transport its own specialty, long range telescopes to this event for guided public astronomy – but we love to see the Astro enthusiasts out there in their element – and encourage you to bring your own telescope, binoculars and/or astrophotography gear to set up on the Grounds with us.
During the day a series of activities and demonstrations will be offered at our Discovery Centre.
