The Club is heading to the southwest & we will be camping at the Northcliffe Bushcamp
Itinerary
- Name of Trip: Southwest Extended Long Trip
- Trip Type: Extended Long Trip 14th - 21st September (official end date of trip 21/09/2024) members are able to stay longer at the camp-site if they wish to do so. However there will be no trip leaders staying past the 21/09/2024*
- Trip Difficulty: Medium
- Vehicle Suitability: 4WD Low Range, Recovery points or recovery hitch, Snatch Strap Kit, Shovel,
- Driver Experience:
- Suitable for all drivers with moderate experience.
- UHF Channel: 10
- Minimum Requirements: Licensed & roadworthy vehicle, UHF Radio either a fixed unit or a handheld unit (5 watts is the recommended wattage for handheld radios), Rated recovery points front and rear of your vehicle or minimum a rated (recovery hitch), 2 x rated bow shackles, 1 x snatch strap & damper blanket, 1 x long-handle shovel, Air Compressor, Tire Deflator, Enough water for 24 hours per occupant. - Fuel: All attendees must have a full tank of fuel before the Safety / Trip briefing
- Water: Minimum of 5 Litres per day per passenger per day.
- Firewood: Yes please bring a minimum of two bags
- Camping Fees: $20 per person per night - payable to the campsite
- Weather: The outdoors can change its conditions at any moment, be prepared for cold/ hot – dry/wet conditions
- National Park Fees: Yes
- Footwear: Enclosed Shoes must be worn on loose gravel surfaces. We recommend wearing boots if you have them or shoes with lots of treads the pee gravel can be slippery.
- Food: BYO - Self-Sufficient (snacks/lunch break in the field)
- Additional Costs: Entry to the Valley of Giants Tree Top Walk

There will be a mixture of off-roading days, fishing, surfing if you're brave enough, and scenic drives the trip will be balanced to cater to this.
The weather could be cold & wet, so please ensure you bring wet weather gear and something warm to wear.
Attendees are advised to please ensure safety/event requirements are taken
- Follow instructions given by the trip leader, trip leader 2IC / Charlie.
- Carefully follow all directions given by the trip leader, trip leader 2IC / Charlie.
- Make sure you arrive early before the safety/trip briefing
- If you are not sure about something or you need assistance please radio call the Trip Leaders or Charlie for assistance

Attendee Acknowledgment -
Drivers must hold a valid Western Australian Drivers License
Vehicles are registered & roadworthy
Vehicles must have a roadworthy spare tire jack and tools to change it
Attendees are required to follow all instructions & directions given to me by a member of the committee trip leaders or any other person given authority to provide instructions & directions by the committee
Attendees must always act and conduct my activities with the Isuzu Club in the safest & respectful manner
Attendees are expected to arrive at the Muster Point with a full tank of fuel 15 minutes before the Muster Time
If running late, attendees must contact the Trip Leader to discuss possible options - If running too late I may not be able to attend the trip
Attendees understand that the club records different types of media for its purposes & it is my responsibility to ensure I remove myself from the recording location if I wish not to be recorded
If attendees fail to follow instructions given, act or conduct activities in a non-safe manner and or an unrespectful manner you may be asked to leave the trip
