Isuzu 4x4 Club of WA Inc. Signs up for Containers for Change Scheme.

Updated: Nov 1, 2020

Containers for a Change have created a way to recycle containers that incentivises Australians and positively impacts our environment and the communities we live in. By encouraging individuals and groups, we can help create jobs in metropolitan and regional areas, and support local economies.

Once you’ve returned your containers, refund point operators sort them into material types before a logistics provider transports them to be processed. The containers are then prepared for recycling at the processing facility before accredited recyclers purchase the processed materials which they transform into new containers and products.

The Isuzu 4x4 Club of WA Inc. Invites members, guests, sponsors, supporters & the general community to help us to raise much needed funds. Your contributions will assist the club to become more financial and as a result will in turn assist the club to be able to give more opportunities and benefits to it's members. And with your help we will be helping the environment also! Please use our Scheme ID to help us!

The Isuzu 4x4 Club of WA Inc. aim's to work with its club members to encourage Western Australians to recycle more containers and help build even more pride in the places we live. Containers for Change shows that recycling can achieve the trifecta of making a difference to our environment, creating jobs and supporting local communities. It’s a win-win-win!

Carbon Neutral helps organisations across Australia minimize their impact on the environment by working with them to measure, reduce and offset greenhouse gas emissions. WARRRL are a proud partner of Carbon Neutral and have offset 155 tonnes of carbon emissions through reforestation in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor.

Making change is easy. It all starts with you. Collect your eligible containers instead of tossing them in the waste, then drop them off at a refund point where you can either keep or donate your 10 cent refund. Not only is it great for the environment, but it’s also a great way to make some pocket money or support local charities and community groups.

Containers for Change provides exciting opportunities for groups and charities to raise much-needed funds, as well as showing a commitment to the environment and encouraging better recycling behaviors in the community. So, why not turn your containers into change today?

There are four types of refund points in WA where you can return eligible containers. The best one for you could depend on how many containers you’re returning and how you would like to receive your refund.

Most aluminum, glass, plastic, steel and liquid paperboard drink containers between 150ml and 3L are eligible for a refund. And remember, don’t forget to take your lids off!
